Mrs. Hoffman - Preschool

Hi!  My name is Kim Hoffmann.  As the Preschool teacher at Our Mother of Perpetual Help School, I am excited to be a part of your child’s early childhood development and education.

I grew up in Montgomery County and worked in the Preschool classrooms at Holy Redeemer Child Care Center during college.  After graduating from Holy Family College, I worked as a substitute teacher and then a classroom teacher in Philadelphia for five years.  I received my Masters of Education degree from Gwynedd Mercy College and am a certified Reading Specialist.

I moved to Lancaster County in 2005 and took some time off from teaching to be a stay-at-home mom.  I have been an active member of OMPH parish since we moved here.  I worked at OMPH for three years as a playground supervisor, substitute teacher, and First Grade classroom aide before moving into the position of Preschool teacher.  My two children also attend OMPH.

My name is Andrea Covey.  I attended nine years of Catholic elementary school and graduated from Lancaster Catholic High School.  I went on to graduate from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Environmental Science/Biology.  After school I worked at Lancaster Laboratories for 11 years before becoming a stay-at-home mom.

Along with my husband, I am an active member of St. James parish in Lititz.  My three daughters attend OMPH, and I have volunteered at school for many years.  I am honored to be given the opportunity to now be here helping the youngest of our school’s students grow academically and spiritually.
