Position Available at OMPH Catholic School: Kindergarten Teacher Aide and Lunchroom Monitor – 5 days per week; 6 hours per day, when school is in session. Responsibilities include assisting the Kindergarten teacher with classroom activities (singing included) as needed, support the teacher with routine classroom tasks as needed, assist individual children as needed, and supervise all OMPH students in the lunchroom during all lunch periods. It is expected that the successful applicant will abide by all that is set forth in the teacher contract, the Diocesan Policy Book, the Faculty Handbook, assigned duties and classroom responsibilities, and will review the Parent Handbook and Emergency Operations Plan. Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma; a Bachelor or Associates degree is preferable; strict confidentiality working in a school environment is required; strong management & discipline skills with Kindergarten through 8th grade students; must enjoy children of all ages. OMPH School Board

The Our Mother of Perpetual Help School Board of Education is committed to the Mission of OMPH School and serves the Pastor and Principal on behalf of the school community as the Parish Pastoral Council serves the Pastor on behalf of the parish community.  It is a consultative group of people who are committed to the school, Catholic education, and who are willing to work with the Pastor and Principal for both the good of the school and the parish.

Meeting dates & minutes:

Meetings are held six times annually with an extra meeting scheduled for a snow make, if necessary.  The dates for the 2018-19 school year are scheduled for September 25, 2018; October 23, 2018; November 27, 2018; January 22, 2019 (tentative or January 29); February 26, 2019; March 26, 2019; and April 23, 2019.
