In One Day at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic School so much happens! Students recite the Pledge of Allegiance together in every classroom, learn together in our state-of-art LabLearner science lab, play together in phys ed class, create beautiful pieces of art with our talented Art teachers, read together in our 10,000 book library, study together on Chromebooks, iPads, Whiteboards, and good old fashioned chalk boards, but most importantly, they pray together. They pray as an entire school community first thing in the morning after lunch and at the end of the day. They pray together with their classmates throughout the day. They pray together at the school mass every Friday. The students of OMPH School have a busy, and full day.
To educate OMPH School children in One Day, it takes many hands! The obvious are those of the helpful homeroom teachers, but often overlooked are the nurturing staff in the front office, the caring cafeteria workers, as well as the teachers of the “Specials” such as art, music, phys ed, library, computer, and Spanish. It also takes considerable funds, more than is compensated by tuition. That is why this Day of Giving is so important. It is through your support, with events like this, that we are able to continue to provide such full and meaningful days to our students.
